Butterfly weed is a small herbaceous perennial in the milkweed family. It’s often only a foot tall or so at Garfield Community Farm. We grow it in our labyrinth garden where it support pollinators and butterflies. Not many flowers are true orange like butterfly weed, the color really pops! Great for small spaces and small pollinator gardens.
